Today's lesson and activities;
1. How to write the proper unit plan!! Ajarn spent time to work together in the class with explained and also gave us a lot of suggestions. I have to say that today more clear about curriculum, instruction and evaluation in practical!! She’s so amazing!!
2. In the unit, think about it is going to be a lesson or skills activity/skill package in what subject, time (how long per lesson/activity), curriculum ( that based on school or national curriculum), activity (with teacher/mentor or not), assignment/evaluation. Step by Step!!
3. Relate technology and innovation within the project, give learners choices, give learners deep understand and more clearly in structure of the activities, so they can match with their own learning styles.
4. Teacher should think about techniques in questioning the learners, think about teaching resources/materials, and think about the gap in between the lesson, step by step. What will look like on the real blog? Manage template carefully!!
5. Las but not least, how to naming concept for each tasks, get in to Pirun web via Filezilla***,
And the go to blogger to type http://...  in each group work to link with Ajarn address.
6. Finish Plan & Storyboard in PowerPoint, Prototype, continue send project task via m@xlearn. Keep in touch!! It’s a must.

By Me Moral: Lesson/activity will not happen properly, if you don’t have the proper curriculum to based on!

The End!! ^___^

Today's lesson and activities;
1. Start with group work project that supposed to be more in practical and tried to get keyword on that tasks. No need to focus or mention too much on background and concept but go straight on main idea and how to in practical.
2. More knowledge from Ajarn to make us re-think deeply about ‘EDUCATION’, background, concept, approach, theory, philosophy, technology, innovation, standards-based curriculum STEM, learning styles and so on, that led us more on reviewing again and again and linked with curriculum, instruction and assessment/evaluation. The way to write these information down in the proper way. That’s a really great knowledge for me. Because the way Ajarn had been taught us was amazing, the way she started from big to small, small to big, what is macro and what is micro on each things? Which model based on which model?
Discoverer, Critical thinkers, Smart developer on learning resources, etc.
3. The individual project, continuing with the unit plan, focus on the title of the project, lesson or skill package. Then think about tools & technologies (in web2.0) and also platform which one are you going to use with the project? Think about knowledge that student will have for result. And should cover three main things on curriculum, instruction and evaluation.
4. Continue update E-Portfolio and ready to present project (Hurry up!!)

By Me Moral : The more you search, The more you know.

The End!! ^___^

Today's lesson and activities;
1. Assessment/Evaluation, what is the different?
So here are the differents from http://duke.edu/arc/documents/The%20difference%20between%20assessment%20and%20evaluation.pdf

What is the difference between assessment and evaluation?
• Assessment focuses on learning, teaching and outcomes. It provides information for improving learning and teaching. Assessment is an interactive process between students and faculty that informs faculty how well their students are learning what they are teaching. The information is used by faculty to make changes in the learning environment, and is shared with students to assist them in improving their learning and study habits. This information is learner-centered, course based, frequently anonymous, and not graded.
• Evaluation focuses on grades and may reflect classroom components other than course content and mastery level. These could include discussion, cooperation, attendance, and verbal ability.
• The table below summarizes key differences between assessment and evaluation

Dimension of Difference
Assessment
Evaluation
Content: timing, primary
purpose
Formative: ongoing, to
improve learning
Summative: final, to gauge
quality
Orientation: focus of
measurement
Process-oriented: how
learning is going
Product-oriented: what’s
been learned
Findings: uses thereof
Diagnostic: identify areas
for improvement
Judgmental: arrive at an
overall grade/score

Content adapted from:
Angelo, T and Cross, K.P. 1993. Classroom assessment techniques a handbook forcollege teachers. Jossey-Bass A Wiley Imprint, San Francisco, CA. Pp 427.
Assessment of Student Learning in STEM disciplines. A Duke University ‘TeachingIDEAS workshop’ presented by Ed Neal, Ph.D. Director of Faculty Development,Center for Teaching and Learning, University of North Carolina.

And from http://tll.mit.edu/help/assessment-and-evaluation

Assessment and Evaluation
ASSESSMENT is the systematic collection of data to monitor the success of a program or course in achieving intended learning outcomes (ILOs)* for students. Assessment is used to determine:
What students have learned (outcome)
The way they learned the material (process)
Their approach to learning before, during, or after the program or course
You can assess students before instruction to get a baseline of what students know (for example, by administering a pretest). During instruction, assessment can be used to determine what students are learning so you can adjust your teaching, if needed. Quizzes or mud cards, which ask students to identify the “muddiest point” that remains for them after the class, are two methods of this kind of “formative assessment.” After instruction, you can use assessment for two purposes: (1) to determine if there has been a change in knowledge (final exams can be used for “summative assessment”); and (2) to provide you with information to revise the class or program.
EVALUATION is a judgment by the instructor or educational researcher about whether the program or instruction has met its Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO).

*The term intended learning outcomes is from (Biggs, J and Tang, C. (2011): Teaching for Quality Learning at University, (McGraw-Hill and Open University Press, Maidenhead)

By the way, there are so many kinds of assessment an evaluation that should know!!

2. How to work in team? Works together – Collaborative Learning – All project works are for everyone!!3. Project work (based on Task-Based Learning), “Individual” – Ajarn called my name again ^__^ ‘Duangnet’ no need to add flowchart!!-
Individual project: Have to revise again as Ajarn mentioned in the Condition step2 no.2, fill more details in the knowledge topics. Think about how to present the project work, about knowledge topics to give to the students and technology to use (should be from web2.0 and 3.0). How to manage the activities, activity patterns? If your project are online, make sure that you add the activity!! Keep focusing!!
4. Straight back to read in the course syllabus on this lesson again “Information and Communication Technology in Curriculum and Instruction”, please make sure that you understand clearly enough, think about this and learn how to group all the information you have learned, scope & sequences, accountability, OTL. Concept and Theory, which is come first? How? Is that from grouping all knowledge? MUST DO IT!!
How to Sequences an information IE; Open Education – Open Courseware (MIT institute then MOOC) – Open Education Resources
5. More about WIX, HotPotatoes6, WordPress, webcast, Webinar, CAI, CAL, autoware, game-based learning, grandmother & me (interactive living book-discovery learning) etc.
6. Practical section: HotPotatoes6. I have learned how to create an activities by using HotPotatoes6 program. I love this, still complicate but not too much. By the way ajarn suggested me to use this program with my individual project too. ^__^
7. Continue Group work!!

PS. On Sunday 28th September 2014 and Sunday 5th October 2014 – No class at KU but will be on Hangout with Ajarn!!

By Me Moral : When you are learning, you need to study and search more on the background, sequences and grouping all knowledge on each lesson to make it clear and improve your own learning skills.

The End!! ^___^

Today's lesson and activities;
Today lessons, start with Ajarn ask the question 'Who is Duangnet?' ... Well! hahaha i thought i might have done something wrong and YES!! I had put the wrong objective, and that was my mistake, i should concern about developing my electronic media not about listening skill for student on this project. Listening skill for children will come from my media project!! Poor Ms. Joy!!

OK, let's start for the lesson!!
1. General discussions
    - When searching for the information, have to search by product - critical thinking, think think and think carefully!!
    - Ajarn keep remind us about collaborative learning, blended learning, read and study from friend's works, how to do/write proper references. This course is a TOOL!
    - About open Educational Resources : OER
    - Ajarn talked about Project (Individual and Group): For Individual, Ajarn concern about how to fill in the details/information about principles and objectives (why do you need to do this project?, what is a problem?and at the end of this project has to solve the problem you've found. Just get in to the main issues, no need to go around with nothing in there. And for the reason of the project have to answer the propositions on curriculum, instruction and evaluation, also technological have to be clear! So why don't you try to consider about web2.0 / web3.0 that might be useful for the project.
    - Try to focus and make it clear in my head about my own proposition of this project. What are the reason no.1 (is ... problem on instruction) and reason no.2 (is... technology that should bring in). Searching for all resources, think about how to for children (e.g. online lesson, online course ware, base course ware, details, level-differentiate), how to manage the presentation on the project and think about resources to get some idea on presentation and even bring to use for the project, then get the easy one for children to access. Done!!
    - Top-Down connectivism theory by ajarn Yeun in Techonology. But in education is constructivism
    - Webquest, why teacher doesn't use webquest with their children?
    - Communication Theory.
    - Thai language Textbook - Make it happens and authentic.
    - To be continue with photo impact, add video (embedded&link) in personal web, step by step!! And i also have to concentrate and  look at ajarn all the times. Ajarn review how to use Photoimpact again and again to make sure that her class can do it.
    - How to get in to/connected with pirun web - classmate - right click - open with Dreamweaver and type all friend's name and id (don't forget to click save all for everything i did) and upload to website by Filezilla.. so many step that have to keep my eyes and ears wide open. But I still can't remember all of these!!
    - VPN program ,, how to install in my laptop!! This program will be like everywhere you go, you will always connect with all KU's web (e.g. pirun) as you work inside KU Bangkhen at all time. So my laptop will be recognize from the main server !! Right??
2. Practicing Time.. Enjoy!!
3. Well, no class on Sunday 14th Sept., 2014 ,, but keep work on my jobs properly!!

By Me Moral : Searching for more information is like diving in a different knowledge via technologies.

The End!! ^___^

Today's lesson and activities;
1. Technology and how to? such as; google+ and meeting conference technology. Try to sharpen your brain and yourself using and learn about new technology, in order to know exactly what is all about. Not just to know but to clearly know all about this!!
2.  When searching for some details, not just only one information and then finish!! Shouldn't do that for Ph.D. student!!
In order to get to know something, we need to think about this, make sure that you understand clearly the ask yourself about 5W1H to get the good information/detail to support your work,, Think carefully (Be Critical Thinker) !!
3. About project development on C&I, open your eyes & learn new things, step by step!! (Concern about tools, electronics)

HOMEWORK
1. Create our own presentation VDO clip and upload to YouTube, then send link to ajarn via FB within 6 Sep. 2014
2. Continue with CWork1 - put in ForumWK1 within 3 Sep. 2014, then ReportWK1 within 5 Sep. 2014 on  in group.
3. Continue with CProject1 - individual within 6 Sep. 2014 (In case you pass from the first task then go to second task)

By Me Moral : Not just do the searching, but do choose and using it!!

PS. HOMEWORK!!! ,,, Concentrate, concentrate!!

2nd Journal

Today's lesson and activities;
On the 2nd day of this lesson, I've been taught about...
First, lecture about HTML programming for teachers, 3 issues to bring up as a point to refer to curriculum, instruction and assessment/evaluation. By the way Ajarn keep reminded about the meaning of the words 'assessment' and 'evaluation' are not the same. Need to remember!!
And Ajarn also teach me and friends, how to refer some articles, phrases, sentences and whole paragraphs in the way of professional researchers always do (3 different ways). Check carefully!! Then ajarn teach how to write documentations that before we start write something down, we need to make sure that we clearly understand and/or know the good/bad points of those documentations. Also every times that we need to send ajarn all tasks, make sure that we put the date on properly.
Open mind and keep using your brain to think carefully and critically, keep waking up and keep inspiring yourself to learn more and more. Learn how to choose, how to check and how to develop our skills in every single day. Ajarn do concerned about basic languages for children, especially about Thai languages. How to?? Keep in Mind!!

Second, practicing on M@XLEARN (http://course.ku.ac.th)
This time ajarn started to introduce M@XLEARN what does it look like, then took us to see all details about this 01162661 course. Lots of things that have to be done, have to understand clearly about each steps in M@XLEARN. The targets of this course are about knowledge and skills for us to use in the future.
So ajarn told us to go to 'Ajarn talk' in M@XLEARN to introduce ourselves (name, education, job, experiences, good at...? but in Nisit talk is just for casual talk among friends. Check more in 'C-Material'. Jobs that should be finished are project, prototype, personal blog, personal facebook and VDO, showcase, etc.
Homework: is in M@XLEARN!!!

Third, start to write our own personal website by using program ULEAD Photo Impact - Dreamweaver - Wix.com - Hot Potatoes. But today we did use only 'Notepad' & 'ULEAD Photo Impact' (just those program made me me have to super duper concentrate on Ajarn!!).
Step by step with Notepad, write program+surname (html). Ahhhh!!! ... index.html - All file - put temporary one in folder 'WebTemplate' - put finished in 'PirunWeb'. Lots of foloders now!!
Homework: try to continue on 'home' & 'classmate'. Oh My ....!!

By Me Moral : Better understand the things before you start not before you stop!!

PS: Don't forget M@XLEARN

The End!! ^____^

So now i've got My SQL password!! ^__^ ' (Too much password to remember!)

Third, Ajarn teach us to install FileZilla in order to ... Oops!! I can't remember but no worry i'll ask Ajarn next week. Then i started to making my own Blog at "http://www.blogger.com", it's not quite easy to learn because of sth always happen, No Worry!!
The way to making my blog in blogger are sing in gmail account (same user name & password), after that i learn how to use all tools in dashboard and learn how to added Pages , Posts, manage layout, template, setting post and comments, language and times and also how to add educational links and add my friends' links. A LOT!!

By Me Moral : Keep your all 5 senses of learning wide open!!
Ps. Do not forget to download and install FileZilla!!
